ALHAMBRA:

Puerta de las Granadas (The Gate of Granada) is situated 150m from our door on Cuesta de Gomerez. Built on the "Bib al – Buxan" or "Puerta de las Alegras Nuevas", it is the entrance to the Alhambra complex and acted as a defensive tower for one of the cities' entrances. On the old Barranco de la Sabika between the hills of the Alhambra and el Mauror it is the gate of the walled complex between the Torre de la Vela and Torres Bermejas, and its natural access from the city.

If you continue walking up the hill you will soon reach the ticket office for the Narid palaces and the rest of the monuments. Minibuses that go to the Alhambra stop 100 meters from the hotel in Plaza Isabel la Catolica.

ALBAYZIN:

Leaving the hotel, 100m on the left you will find Plaza Nueva. A large square with terraces, typical bodegas and souvenir shops. After passing the Chancilleria building, XVI century, the Carrera del Daro begins, it will lead you to the Albayzin (Unesco world heritage site). An area full of uncountable monuments, and corners filled with the history of Granada which we recommend you discover and from many of which you will enjoy magnificent views of the Alhambra.

CATEDRAL:

Walking from Plaza Nueva150m to the left you will the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel. The Cathedral is situated in the commercial and institutional centre of Granada, in which also you will find many bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the typical tapas from Granada.

SIERRA NEVADA:

During your stay in Granada you can enjoy the pleasures of the Sierra Nevada such as the skiing station, the most meridional in Europe, giving it the most sunny days per season, and only 30 minutes away from our hotel. Also there are several walking routes open all year round in the National park.

ALPUJARRAS:

You can organize a trip to the south face of the Sierra Nevada and get acquainted with its villages, people, gastronomy and wonderful landscape.

PLAYA:

If you prefer the sea, you will find it only 50 minutes drive away, where you will be able to enjoy the unique tropical microclimate of our coast.
