Walking down the hotel, on the left 100m far, you can fing Plaza Nueva. A bug square with terraces, typical wine shops and souvenir shop.
Past the sixteeth century "Chancillería" building, the Carrera del Darro will take you to the Albayzín neighbourhood, declared World Heritage, and full of monuments and places of Granada's history which are a must.
From any spot or square, you will be able to watch unbeteable views of the Alhambra.

Walking 200m from Plaza Nueva, on the left you can find the Cathedral and the Catholic King's Chapel. This is the business and institutional Granada's centre.
